Acadia National Park

Established in 1919, Acadia was the first National Park established east of the Mississippi River. The parkĀ is a unique landscape made up of ocean shorelines, mountains, wooded forest and lakes. With numerous islands and mountains, this park is a favorite spot for sea kayakers, hikers, bird watchers, horseback riders, leaf peepers and tide pool exploration.
