Rocky Mountain National Park

Rocky Mountain National Park was established in 1915, Rocky Mountain National Park is a hiker’s paradise found in Colorado.  Home to the headwaters of the Colorado River the park sits on the Continental Divide and includes steep mountains, alpine lakes, wooded forest, and mountain tundra.  With a wide variety of wildlife including megafaunas such as Elk, Moose, bears, and bighorn sheep.  The park is a popular destination for hiking, fishing, rock climbing, snowshoeing and mountaineering.  To learn more about the park and Leave No Trace please visit
