Voyageurs National Park

Established in 1975, Voyageurs National Park located in Northern Minnesota is named for the French-Canadian fur traders who were the first Europeans to travel in this area.  With outstanding water resources, the park is a popular area for canoeist, kayakers, and boaters alike.  The park is adjacent the famous Boundary Waters Area Wilderness, known for its diverse mega-fauna such as Moose and Timberwolves the park is a nature and water lovers paradise.  To learn more about the park and Leave No trace please visit
