Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park was first protected in 1864, best known for its waterfalls, glacial valley, granite cliffs, and domes.  The nearly 1,200 square mile park is also home to deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient sequoias, a vast wilderness area and much more.  The park also spans the High Sierra, where hikers and equestrians alike can seek solitude in the granite peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountain range.  To learn more about this park and the National Park Foundation please visit www.nationalparks.org
