The Ice Age Trail travels 1,200 miles through Wisconsin starting in the east at Potawatomi State Park then winds its way through the state ending on the western side of the state at Wisconsin Interstate State Park. Knowing for its deep mid-western forest, numerous lakes and geological history the Ice Age Trail offer the visitor an escape to the woods and fantastic way to explore this unique landscape. In 1980 the ICT received its designation as an official National Scenic Trail.

The Ice Age Trail Alliance is the official organization which builds, maintains, and work to protect this trail. With countless volunteers and dedicated trail crews this organization is working hard to build, maintain and protect this trail for future generations.
